System One is working with a client to find an Avionics Tech (Day Shift) Responsibilities<ul><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test avionics and electronic components.</li><li>Perform functional testing using approved test equipment and procedures.</li><li>Interpret CMMs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Perform soldering, component replacement, and circuit board repair as required.</li><li>Complete work in compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.</li><li>Accurately complete work orders, inspection documentation, and repair records.</li><li>Identify discrepancies and communicate findings to supervisors or engineering.</li><li>Maintain proper handling of ESD-sensitive components.</li><li>Ensure proper care and calibration of test equipment.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with FOD and safety procedures.</li><li>Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Experience working with avionics systems, electronic assemblies, or aircraft components.</li><li>Associate's degree or certification in Avionics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.</li><li>Experience with electronic troubleshooting and testing equipment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality standards.</li><li>Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.</li><li>Basic computer skills for documentation and work order tracking.</li><li>Strong communication skills for documenting work and interacting with team members.</li><li>Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.</li><li>Knowledge of CMM procedures and aviation regulatory requirements (preferred).</li><li>IPC solder certification or equivalent electronics repair experience (preferred).</li><li>Experience with avionics test benches or automated test equipment (preferred).</li><li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.</li><li>Good manual dexterity for precision electronic work.</li><li>Ability to work with small components and fine wiring.</li></ul>System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
