This faculty member will work closely with cardiac surgeons, interventional and non-invasive cardiologists, cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals to advance minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery across the health system while supporting the academic missions of patient care, education, research, and innovation. As Director of Robotic Cardiac Surgery, the candidate will provide leadership in program development, physician engagement, multidisciplinary collaboration, strategic planning, quality improvement, and regional referral network expansion, helping position UHealth as a destination center for robotic and minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
