Candidates will also be able to provide formal educational instruction by consistently attending and presenting at key Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases conferences including but not limited to Core Curriculum, Case Conference, Journal Club, Patient Safety, Clinical Pathological Conferences and Antimicrobial Stewardship and will provide specialty content updates emphasizing pathophysiology, clinical and diagnostic principles and emerging therapeutic interventions. Additionally, candidates will participate in formal scholarship activities including but not limited to mentorship of house staff and student academic projects, conduction and dissemination of scientific discoveries, participation in Divisional and Institutional scholarship activities with an emphasis on specialty areas of expertise and to continually foster an environment of learning and discovery.
