Troubleshoot, maintain and/or repair of all technical equipment within the park.
Executes the operation of Show Product in one of the following disciplines, Audio, Multi-Media, Master Electrician, Lighting Board Operator, Spot Operator, Deck Hands, Fly Rail, Dressers.
Support Park wide special events with set-up, operation and strike of technical equipment as needed.
Collaborates with Entertainment Production/Operations, Theming, and Theatrical Services teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Works with outside contractors.
Maintain the parade floats and props used in various shows and events.
Operate the audio, lights and video during shows and events.
Drive parade floats when necessary.Consistently demonstrates courteous and professional behavior in all work aspects with all ambassadors and guests.
Maintains a professional appearance that meets grooming standards.
Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed.
Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting, and reporting unsafe situations.What it takes to succeed:Knowledge of technical theater practices and equipment.
Experience with hand tools, powered drills and soldering equipment preferred.
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds required.
Ability to climb into and out of, as well as operate in, confined spaces required.
Ability to operate in loud conditions with hearing protection required.
Valid US Driver's License required.

2 years entertainment production, operation or equivalent experience required.
Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions with or without shade.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions with or without shade.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, overnight and holidays required.
Be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.

The Sesame Place season runs from March 2026 through Labor Day 2026, with onboarding and all required training to be completed prior to the start of the season.

<h5>Join The Team </h5>Lights, sound, action — join the team that keeps the show running! Basic working knowledge of entertainment technical equipment. Supports live shows, events and entertainment venues, able to operate shows in accordance to the standards set by Entertainment Management. Supports and assists the Entertainment Management team at all times in the day to day operation of the Department. Main Responsibilities:<ul><li>Capable of operating audio, lighting, special effects, and video equipment for live shows. Ensures all show cues are taken as required by Entertainment Management. Responsible for technical elements of shows and show venues. </li><li>Working knowledge of entertainment technology to include one of the following disciplines: audio, lighting, video and special effects. </li><li>Willingness to learn and become proficient in multiple technical disciplines as required. </li><li>Understanding of entertainment terminology as it relates to equipment, staging, show cues and scripts. </li><li>Carries out all necessary technical pre and post show checks of equipment and props to ensure the safety and good working order of all equipment. </li><li>Carries out regular maintenance checks on all equipment at the facility, and reports all incidents and defects to an Entertainment Supervisor. </li><li>Knowledge of basic electrics, able to trouble-shoot signal flow effectively. </li><li>Able to obtain certification to operate a forklift, genie lift and scissor lift. </li><li>Assists with load in and load out of special events production equipment and decoration throughout the park. </li><li>Basic carpentry skills and willingness to operate power tools. </li><li>Assembles scenery and staging. </li><li>Follow Spot operation. </li><li>Demonstrate care and maintenance of equipment and tools. </li><li>Lends assistance to other LEGOLAND departments as necessary. </li><li>Collects facility keys at the start of each day and is responsible for opening and securing the facility at the end of each day. </li><li>Attend all show rehearsals as required to train and maintain LEGOLAND California's show program. </li><li>Monitor sound levels of assigned show location. </li><li>Maintains a clean and safe environment in the control, stage and backstage areas at all times. </li><li>Complies with safety regulations, operating equipment per safety guidelines and procedures. </li><li>Completes a daily Show Report, outlining pertinent information from the day's operation. </li><li>Assists any other LEGOLAND departments in maintaining clean and safe facility environments whenever possible. </li><li>Assists as required in all emergency procedures as outlined by emergency plan. </li><li>Reports to Entertainment Duty on status of venue (show ready) at the beginning of each day.
