Are you ready to work for an employer that cares about its employees?  Come and work for a company that is willing to invest in your training and provides a clear path for growth!  Come and join the Boss Shop Team! The Entry Level Shop Technician is responsible for performing entry level mechanical repairs in a timely and professional manner. Essential Job Duties/Functions:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Completes assigned training programs, evaluations, and e-learning within designated timeframes.</li><li>Performs preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacement.</li><li>Greases trucks and trailers.</li><li>Performs tire repair, replacement, and related services.</li><li>Conducts CSA inspections and emergency road service calls.</li><li>Perform basic electrical diagnosis and repairs, including lighting, wiring, and 7-way replacements.</li><li>Perform minor trailer maintenance and body repairs.</li><li>Conducts basic air system repairs, including airline replacement, fittings, glad hands, and splices.</li><li>Performs battery testing and replacement.</li><li>Maintains cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.</li><li>Ensures all tools, equipment, and service vehicles are clean, functional, and properly maintained.</li><li>Properly stores parts, tires, and supplies.</li><li>Accurately completes work orders, including labor, parts, and customer information.</li><li>Ensures total customer satisfaction and uphold the integrity of the company.</li><li>Follows all company safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Completes OSHA Skills Demonstration and required safety training.</li><li>Maintains current LMS training requirements.</li><li>Provides friendly, professional, and competent customer service.</li><li>Reports to work as scheduled and on time.</li></ul>Additional Job Duties:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Supervisory Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</li></ul> 

Qualifications:
 Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):<ul><li>Ability to complete TIA tire training.</li><li>DOT Medical Card required at Boss Shops.</li><li>Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, and other relevant certifications as required.</li><li>Successful completion of internal technician training programs.</li></ul> Minimum Qualifications:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.</li><li>Reliable transportation and phone.</li><li>Availability to work weekends, holidays, and as needed.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in English (if applicable).</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.</li><li>Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with team members.</li><li>Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.</li></ul> Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
