Sales and customer service skills along with a high attention to detail are essential both in-person and via phone. No college degree required, will train the right person.<ul><li style="background:#ffffff">Work with QC Supply retail customers, both in-store and over the phone, to understand their needs.</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Recommend to customers the best parts and equipment available with which their needs can be addressed</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Educate new customers on new products and special promotions as well as promote QC Supply products</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Properly operate office equipment, handle payment transactions, and efficiently utilize computer operating systems</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Assist with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle counts</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Maintain the inventory levels to assure that there are adequate quantities on hand of all stock</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Work with the warehouse and ensure that all materials leaving or entering the warehouse are properly accounted for</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Always keep parts counter and showroom neat and clean</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Demonstrate a willingness to perform any daily task as assigned</li></ul><h1>Qualifications and Education Requirements</h1><ul><li style="background:#ffffff">Ideal candidate will have knowledge in the agriculture industry, as well as parts and equipment used, and strives to continually upgrade industry, parts and equipment knowledge</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Responds promptly to customer needs</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively </li><li style="background:#ffffff">Familiar with Microsoft Office products</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from others</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Ethics - Treats people with respect; Upholds organizational values</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment</li><li style="background:#ffffff">Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with occasional overtime</li></ul>Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
