Overview: Provides leadership, development, and direction to Department and Support Managers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient planning and execution of transportation operations; strong support for drivers and delivery assistants; excellent service to stores; effective use of technology; sound financial and staffing management; and consistent execution of processes and SOPs, while driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration across SDS. Develop, modify, and hold people accountable to all processes and SOPs; establish job expectations for Managers to assist in measuring accountability, and ensuring they are supporting team members and customers in a timely and efficient manner.
