Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Managing scope, schedule, and budget for utility infrastructure projects • Managing a multi-disciplinary team (electrical, structural, geotechnical, civil, etc.) on substation design • Building strong client relationships and being the main point of contact to a variety of utility clients • Attending in-person, field and on-line meetings with clients to provide administrative support and engineering guidance to resolve utility interferences • Leading a team to perform record research, including utility plates, NYCTA Subway records, etc. • Reviewing and assisting with development of private utility alignments to avoid utility interferences • Studies, overseeing the development of technical drawings, preparation of estimates of quantities and writing specifications • Coordinating field work for data gathering, test pit inspection, surveys and construction observations • Overseeing the preparation of support drawings, conduit plans, overlay of private utility facilities on NYC Construction Plans • Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders • Responsible for quality control of tasks • Assisting with proposals and business development.
