p>The Environmental Specialist/Engineer independently applies knowledge and skills in multiple environmental practice areas, which may include spill prevention, control and countermeasure, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and other ancillary environmental programs as assigned. Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent will be required to problem solve, read, write and analyze data, work under schedules and deadline pressure, present information to others, work independently and use discretion and judgment for confidential or sensitive projects/issues.
