The Stormwater Management Coordinator is an intermediate skilled technical position responsible for aiding in the implementation and coordination of all aspects of the City's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program, Erosion and Sediment Control Program (ESC), Stormwater Management Program (SWM), Chesapeake Bay Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Action Plan, and updating the City's stormwater Geographic Information System (GIS) data, including storm sewer infrastructure, outfalls, BMPs/stormwater management facilities, drainage systems, inspection locations, land-disturbing activities, and other MS4-related assets. Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit is required; Thorough technical knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental laws, regulations, and ordinances as well as best management practices; Knowledge in erosion control and stormwater principles and practices; Familiarity with watershed management, wetlands, flood plains, and other environmental laws and issues relevant to land development; Knowledge of stormwater and erosion and sediment control inspection and enforcement methods.
