Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Utilizes appropriate cleaning equipment in cleaning all nursing units, patients'' rooms (including bathroom) and all other designated facility areas, including the floors, woodwork, sills, vents, sinks, furniture, public bathrooms, offices etc. Must demonstrate proficiency in personal, patient and team member safety regarding blood borne pathogens, needle stick prevention, fire safety, bed tracking and discharge communication, hospital codes, lock out-tag out procedures, hand washing, patient satisfaction, OSHA regulations, maintaining records and reports necessary for regulatory compliance.
