Our mission in the Division of Health Services Research and Policy is to conduct innovative health services, health economics, and health policy research across a broad range of areas including: health systems financing, economic impact, decision making, organizational structures and processes, population health, chronic disease, substance use and mental health disorders, clinical intervention development and implementation, global health and ethics, and provider and patient personal behaviors that affect access, quality, and cost of health care. Effective oral and written communication skills including teaching experience, presentations at scientific meetings, and a significant publication record in peer-reviewed biomedicine publications, especially with emphasis on machine learning and big data.
