Assists the facility Safety Officer with the coordination, development, implementation, and monitoring of plans for safety management activities; this includes security management, hazardous materials and waste management, emergency preparedness, life safety management, medical equipment management, utility systems management, space allocation management, and infection control programs. Service Provider, or Service Provider's appropriate designee(s), will provide services under this Agreement that are consistent with and meet the criteria of any policies and procedures that VHA adopts to comply with local, state, or federal regulations and/or to comply with accreditation requirements of the Joint Commission or any other duly appointed accrediting agencies.
