This role is perfect for someone who is eager to achieve success by providing superior service and quality. As an Escrow Closer, you would be responsible for overseeing the escrow process for real estate transactions, which includes preparing, executing, and delivering escrow documents. Building strong client relationships is crucial, as you'll need to determine escrow requirements and ensure all title issues are resolved for smooth transactions.<br/><br/></div><div>Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and approving escrow documents, managing closings, and addressing any client questions or concerns. You will be balancing escrow funds and coordinating with the funding team to ensure precise disbursement of funds. You will need to collaborate with various stakeholders such as lenders, buyers, sellers, and real estate agents to ensure everything runs seamlessly and on time.<br/><br/><strong>Location:</strong></div><ul><li>This a full-time on-site position at our Lindbergh Blvd. location.</li><li>Ability to attend to conferences and events, which may require travel in the St. Louis/St. Charles County areas.</li></ul><div><strong>Duties & Responsibilities</strong>:</div><ul><li>Prepares Closing Disclosure & Settlement statements with all accurate prorations/adjustments including but not limited to real estate taxes, sewer, water, trash, subdivision or HOA fees, payoff of any liens as evidenced by title search.</li><li>The closer must comply with all terms of the real estate contract and/or amendments.</li><li>The closer determines escrow requirements by reviewing and clarifying buyer, seller, and lender instructions. Obtains clear title by ordering title reports, resolving title defects, satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals.</li><li>Completes the closing transaction documents by assembling documents, reviewing papers with parties, explaining provision and procedures, checking documents for completeness & accuracy.</li><li>Once the file is closed, the closer is responsible for satisfying all funding requirements prior to depositing and disbursing the funds. Complies with regulatory requirements by adhering and enforcing requirements.</li><li>Other job responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><div><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></div><ul><li>Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Missouri Department of Insurance license or ability to meet the requirements for Missouri Department of Insurance licensing is required.</li><li>Notary Public is required or ability to meet the requirements.</li><li>Must have basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.</li><li>Must meet ongoing Continuing Education requirements.</li><li>Closer must have excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.</li></ul><div><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></div><ul><li>Requires ability to work independently and or within a team structure.</li><li>Must have the ability to recognize the need to escalate matters when necessary.</li><li>Positive, clear communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to adapt quickly.</li><li>Prior knowledge of SoftPro software, a plus.</li><li>Prior knowledge and experience with real estate transaction closings and title industry is helpful but not required.</li><li>Applicants with portable book of business will be given preference for position.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:</strong><br/>This position has the potential to earn compensation starting from $50,000.00 and up depending on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Responsible for supporting real estate transactions by providing a range of administrative and/or support duties to assist escrow processes as part of a production center, branch office, or member of a title team. Assist branch operations with disbursement of escrow transactions to ensure files have been fully funded and disbursed as directed.

<p>W-2 Contract</p><p>Duration - 5 Months</p><p>Locations - St Louis, MO, 63102</p><p>Shifts - Fully onsite 5 days a week. 830 - 530 CST (MO)</p><p>Pay Range - $19.58 to $20.28</p><p/><p/><p>Provides escrow services for residential and commercial resale, new construction, refinance, relocation and timeshare transactions.
