Overhaul and Repair Engineering (O&RE) is a large organization that supports the top U.S. Navy priority of fleet readiness by accomplishing overhaul, repair, and modernization work on active duty SEAWOLF, VIRGINIA, OHIO, and LOS ANGELES class submarines. Engineers interface consistently with other Electric Boat departments including scheduling, quality assurance, material sourcing, contracts, cost engineering, system testing, operations skilled trades, and project management as well as U.S. Navy submariners.
