The incumbent advises and consults with Members of Congress, the Office of Management and Budget, the Office of the Secretary, and other agencies and Bureaus on matters pertaining to all Bureau programs; testifies before Congressional committees at hearings and on matters of critical importance; and represents the Director and the Department of the Interior in major conferences and contacts with representatives of other government agencies, including international, Federal, and State officials; Tribal entities; and non-governmental organizations to secure their cooperation, interest, and support of BLMs operations to negotiate working agreements and to coordinate the activities of the Bureau. Your resume should clearly demonstrate your experience and accomplishments related to the two TQs below: TQ 1: Executive Leadership of Agency-Wide Programs and Policy Implementation: Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and integrate large, complex organizational programs at the national level, including oversight of Assistant Directors, program offices, and cross-bureau policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation, while exercising full delegated authority for program execution and regulatory development.
