The incumbent Knows and applies current nursing theory, principles of care and nursing procedures in performing the following functions appropriate to the age of the patient in the delivery of quality care and services; Circulating and/or Scrub nurse in the OR, Patient care in the Pre and Post-Operatives area, Maintains a safe and clean care environment, participates in Quality improvement, Assists in the supervision of Surgical Technicians, Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, Behaves in a manner consistent with the Mission and objectives of the Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health and performs other duties as requested. Performs and supervises nursing procedures such as tube feedings, dressing changes, treatment of wounds, inserting of urinary catheters, irrigations, and applications of heat and cold therapy to extremities.
