Build students' fluency with core middle school math and algebra skills (fractions, ratios and proportions, integers and rational numbers, expressions and equations, the coordinate plane, exponents, and the transition into linear equations, factoring, and functions in Algebra 1) and their ability to move between verbal, numerical, algebraic, and graphical representations of the same concept.
