Position Purpose: To provide quality support for the Athletics varsity sports programs and recreation departments, supporting athletics game management, special events for community groups, and organizing sports recreation opportunities for members of the LCC community. Essential Functions: <ul><li>Building and maintaining game day rosters for both teams. </li><li>Managing and keeping the Athletics website current, including athlete bios, event schedules, and coach information. </li><li>Coordinating game and event live-streaming. </li><li>Coordinating game and event concessions. </li><li>Organize recreation opportunities in collaboration with the Athletic Director, PE Coordinator, Wellness Coordinator, students, faculty, and staff. </li><li>Provide supervision at recreation events. </li><li>Direct the work of work-study students for the athletics and recreation departments. </li><li>Assist with Athletics event operations, including set-up and take-down before and after events, organizing and training event volunteers, and providing additional staff supervision at games. </li><li>Problem solve and manage sensitive information with appropriate awareness of FERPA standards; maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the privacy needs of students. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>Equity and Inclusion<ul><li>Demonstrate Lane Community College's core value of social justice by ensuring equity and inclusion skills such as respect, inclusiveness, reflecting, valuing of cultural and personal differences.
