Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support the efficient operation of the site.Duties / Responsibilities<ul><li>Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors.</li><li>Dust and polish woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.</li><li>Clean windows and walls.</li><li>Vacuum and spot clean carpets/upholstery.</li><li>Cleans and maintains supplies in restrooms.</li><li>Empties and cleans waste receptacles.</li><li>Picks up trash from grounds.</li></ul>Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Experience:<ul><li>A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) AND a minimum of two years janitorial experience (preferred).</li></ul>Required Skills and Abilities: <ul><li>Detail-oriented and professional.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. </li><li>Basic understanding of power tools.</li><li>Proactive and takes the initiative.</li><li>Strong organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and reliably.</li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, including delegation of tasks when appropriate.</li></ul>Required Clearances and Documentation:<ul><li>Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation </li><li>Act 31/Act 126 Clearance Mandated Reporter Training </li><li>Act 34 Clearance Pennsylvania State Police Background Check (Criminal History) </li><li>Act 114 Clearance FBI Fingerprint </li><li>Act 33 Clearance Pennsylvania Child Abuse History</li></ul>Physical Requirement:<ul><li>Prolonged periods of standing, bending, stretching, and reaching.</li><li>Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 100 lbs. without assistance.</li></ul>Work Schedule:<ul><li>Afternoon/evening hours five (5) days per week.</li><li>Three or four-hour shifts, depending on building needs.</li></ul>

DIV: Department Latrobe Education CenterJob DescriptionThis position is responsible to perform general clerical duties in support of the overall operation of the Education Center.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS• Act as a receptionist, including greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and distributing mail to appropriate Education Center personnel.
• Answer multi-line telephones, take messages, and forward them to appropriate personnel.
• Answer general questions for students, staff, and visitors.
• Assist students in completing online applications at the Education Center.
• In the absence of the Director, open and lock Education Center during day and evening shifts.
• Notify students regarding course section openings and/or closings.
• Perform general record-keeping and prepare routine documents and correspondence for students, faculty, and staff.
• Prepare and assist in maintaining student records and the center filing system.
• Set up the Learning Management System for distance learning courses when required.
• Process student book orders for distribution to students.
• Process student tuition and other student-related payments.
• Proctor student testing when required.
• Receive and/or process forms for students, staff, and faculty, including but not limited to transcript requests, registrations, add/drop, and change-of-major requests, graduation records, and personal data changes.
• Work with the team to support the daily operations of the center.NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS• Operate office equipment and troubleshoot and resolve any problems.

• Attend all required meetings and training.
