Required expertise/knowledge includes: Experience building backend modules for distributed systems using microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and implementing service mesh patterns for inter service communication and fault tolerance; Experience building and deploying cloud-based solutions using major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), leveraging managed services (RDS, Lambda, S3), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and implementing auto-scaling, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-region deployments; Experience working with database technologies including Redis for caching/session storage, Kafka for event streaming/message processing, Postgres for transactional data with query optimization, and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch for full-text search, log aggregation, and real-time analytics; Experience building REST or equivalent APIs using frameworks (Spring Boot/Gin), implementing proper HTTP methods/status codes, authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth), API versioning, rate limiting, and comprehensive documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger); Proficient in backend development using Go, Python, or Java with experience in frameworks, concurrency patterns, performance optimization, and production-grade application development; Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for distributed systems using distributed tracing (Jaeger, Zipkin), log aggregation (ELK stack), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and root cause analysis across multiple services and data flows; Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working the rough code reviews and managing pull requests. Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related computer technical field (or foreign equivalent) plus Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.
