As a Registered Nurse at Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center, you are a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing compassionate care through patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to individuals with mental illness including: • Coordinating and providing nursing care • Conducting nursing assessments • Preparing, implementing, and modifying nursing care plans • Providing health teaching, counseling, and education to individuals and families • Implementing infection control protocols and procedures • Observing and recording individual's symptoms and care; reporting responses to medications or changes in health.
