OVERVIEW ::
Primarily responsible for exercising safe driving practices ensuring their safety and the safety of the public. Responsible for loading and unloading the truck according to established standard operating procedures (SOP).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
<ul><li>Must deliver or pick up assigned loads at required locations.</li><li>Responsible for inspection of equipment before loading.</li><li>Fuel truck per established fueling procedures.</li><li>Perform and document pre-trip inspection (i.e., tires, oil, fuel, lights, breaks, hoses, etc.).</li><li>Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.</li><li>Follow biosecurity rules and bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) rules.</li><li>Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.</li><li>Comply with DOT, company, FSMA, local, state, federal laws, rules, and regulations.</li><li>Assist with loading and unloading trailer as necessary.</li><li>Clean and wash truck as necessary.</li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

REQUIREMENTS ::
<ul><li>Minimum 21 years of age.</li><li>Valid Class A CDL with 1-year with a satisfactory driving history.</li><li>Minimum 3 year of driving experience.</li><li>Knowledge and follow Department of Transportation (DOT), State and Federal laws, and company safety policies and programs.</li><li>Ability to read and write legibly.</li><li>Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively.</li><li>Possess sound work ethic, honesty, and good moral character.</li><li>Basic math functions and skills.</li><li>Wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li></ul>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ::

OVERVIEW : Primarily responsible for daily preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the vehicles assigned as well as providing onsite emergency assistance as required when issues arise in the field. Must be able to follow workplace safety rules, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout Tagout procedures, and process safety management-related matters.

<ul><li>Performs basic Pre-Trips on all various rolling stock.</li><li>Performs all necessary paperwork associated with the assigned job, i.e. (work orders, charge parts out).</li><li>Drives various equipment safely on the lot or into the garage work area.</li><li>Adjust brakes and clutches to FMCSA standards.</li><li>Performs all Category C tasks.</li><li>Changes/replace clutches, pm all various equipment, make or repair Hydraulics or hoses.</li><li>Performs work assignments with minimum direction from the supervisor.</li><li>Performs basic welding functions along with being able to change out a variety of components related to equipment.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

REQUIREMENTS ::
<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>Must have valid driver's license (MVR check is condition of employment).</li><li>2 years Garage/ Diesel Mechanic experience preferred.</li><li>ASC Certification (preferred).</li><li>Diesel Certification (preferred).</li><li>Ability to work with Insite software.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Fleet Maintenance Operations or transferable skill sets from similar industries.</li><li>Ability to provide own tools.</li><li>Follow Department of Transportation, State and Federal laws, and company safety policies and programs.</li><li>Must be able to follow workplace safety rules, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout Tagout procedures, and process safety management-related matters.</li><li>Willing and capable of working overtime as required.</li><li>Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.</li><li>Excellent Communication Skills.</li></ul>

Monitors production processes of the facility to ensure all products meet company quality and food safety requirements during plant operations to ensure compliance with all company, regulatory, and Global Food Safety Initiative standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
