The Clinical Prevention RN will promote a proactive culture of clinical prevention by identifying residents at risk, ensuring appropriate interventions are implemented, educating staff, monitoring outcomes, and using clinical trends to reduce preventable wounds, falls, and related complications. The Clinical Prevention RN works collaboratively with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Unit Managers, MDS, Therapy, Restorative Nursing, providers, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to promote resident safety, prevent avoidable complications, and improve clinical outcomes.
