Store - JOHNSON CITY, TN Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events (including kids birthday parties) within a Michaels store to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. Deliver friendly customer service by helping customers shop at our store and find what they're looking for. Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. Complete operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards as needed to deliver our Brand Promises. Event Coordination <ul><li>Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events. </li><li>Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity. </li><li>Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities. </li><li>Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards. </li><li>Communicate events with clients and store team members. </li><li>Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed. </li><li>Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback and needs. </li><li>Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed. </li><li>Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events. </li><li>Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards. Job SummaryDepartment of Surgery at ETSU is seeking a full-time Assistant Residency Coordinator for its Orthopedic Division. The person filling this position will be primarily responsible for assistance in maintaining surgery residency requirements, resident personnel files, scheduling and coordinating assigned faculty members calendars, compiling academic material, and completing and coordinating residency travel paperwork. This position will provide clerical support to the Residency Director and several orthopedic faculty members. This position will act as an event coordinator for any resident-oriented events. In addition, this position would be required to assist the Residency Coordinator and the Residency Program Director in all aspects of the Surgery Residency Program as needed, with appropriate support and supervision.Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well as a member of a team in a fluid work environment.
Ability to multitask.
Intermediate computer skills in Zoom, web-based applications and databases, and MS Office Suite. Candidates should be able to demonstrate flexibility, critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate strong time management and follow-through skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all interactions with resident personnel.Required Qualifications
