 Job Title: Event Staffing Manager / Supervisor Location: Beaumont  Pay Rate: $16 - $19 per hour Schedule: Flexible, with heavy weekend work and occasional weekday events Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly   About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and organized Event Staffing Manager / Supervisor to oversee our team of 1099 event staff. This role involves managing staff during various events, ensuring excellent customer communication and relations, and coordinating staffing logistics. The manager will have the first opportunity to select shifts and will work only at assigned events. Key Responsibilities:   Manage and supervise 1099 staff during events   Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication and relations   Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure all shifts are covered   Work closely with staff to ensure smooth event operations   Occasionally work at events during weekends and weekdays as needed   Maintain a professional and positive environment for staff and clients Qualifications:   Reliable transportation is required   Excellent communication and leadership skills   Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings   Previous management or supervisory experience preferred   Self-motivated, organized, and dependable Benefits & Opportunities:   Competitive hourly pay ($16 - $19/hr)   First pick of all shifts   Opportunity to advance within the company   Work only at assigned events, no regular office hours

Store - BEAUMONT, TXPlan, coordinate, and facilitate events (including kids birthday parties) within a Michaels store to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests. Deliver friendly customer service by helping customers shop at our store and find what they're looking for. Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. Complete operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards as needed to deliver our Brand Promises.Event Coordination* Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events.* Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity.* Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities.* Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.* Communicate events with clients and store team members.* Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.* Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback and needs.* Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.* Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.* Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards.
