About the Venue:
A $94 million, state-of-the-art facility that has transformed downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts venue is home to touring Broadway productions, concerts, Guilford College’s Bryan Series, Greensboro Symphony Orchestra performances, comedy shows and all types of family entertainment. In its remarkable first two years, the Tanger Center has hosted nearly 1.3 million guests since its grand opening in 2021. Presented with partners Nederlander and Professional Facilities Management (PFM), the First Bank Broadway Series is one of the nation’s top-selling one-week Broadway series with over 17,500 Season Seat Members. The 3,000-seat venue is managed by the staff of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. 

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Participate in all aspects of the conversion process for events. </li><li>Setting-up and tearing down flooring, chairs, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment. </li><li>Responding to promoter/clients’ needs as directed. </li><li>Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. </li><li>Assist, when necessary, with pre/post event cleaning. </li><li>Meet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to get in and around the facility, walking the entire shift, bending, lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate to loud noises. </li><li>Maintain outside grounds including parking areas, entrances, event plaza and snow removal as required. </li><li>Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed such as painting, patching, and other conversion related operational equipment </li><li>Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively in both oral and written form. </li><li>Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts or other light power equipment. Training and certification required. </li><li>Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments, clients, and patrons encountered in the course of employment. </li><li>Work effectively under pressure and stringent schedule to produce accurate results. </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul>

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner. Work flexible shifts, including nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedule. <ul><li>Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.  </li><li>Experience: 1 to 3 years of event change over experience. </li><li>Ability to work under deadlines driven by event schedules and project timetables. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team. </li><li>Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form. </li><li>Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.</li></ul>

The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events, such as athletic competitions, cultural arts showcases, concerts, theater performances, educational activities, fairs, exhibits, as well as public and private gatherings, including conventions, convocations, trade shows, and consumer shows.
