The Executive Housekeeper is accountable for day-to-day operations of assigned government contracts. Build, improve and maintain relationships with client and employees: develop & retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. Provide quality customer service. Maintains weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned custodial personnel. Provides after-hour emergency response as required.Key Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Manage multiple facets of the Environmental Services of all assigned government contracts to ensure Standards are met and facilities are cleaned as required.</li><li>Creates, manages, adjusts, and adheres to monthly and annual work schedules.</li><li>Maintains Asset Logs and Inventory.</li><li>Meet all Performance Work Statement requirements as outlined in the contracts assigned.</li><li>Build a positive rapport with clients and resolve any issues presented by them within the confines of the contract.</li><li>Plan, organize, and communicate daily operational priorities and client requests.</li><li>Manage financial budget, labor planning and cost controls required of the contract.</li><li>Cultivates a strong safety culture to provide a safe work environment.</li><li>Effectively leads and provides direct supervision to the onsite team across multiple shifts.</li><li>Sets employee expectations, provides training and feedback, and routinely inspects the facility and employee performance and task accomplishment.</li><li>Collaborates and coordinates with shift leads to ensure execution of services.</li><li>Manages supply, chemical and equipment usage and training of employees in the care, handling and performance with the equipment and supplies and each other.</li><li>Use data to proactively seek out operational improvements to optimize the operation.</li><li>Gathers and maintains required administrative tasks for daily, weekly, or monthly reporting.</li><li>Looks for opportunities to increase revenue by providing additional or periodic services.</li><li>Perform any additional duties as required.</li></ul>Additional Duties<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Handle any escalated issues or situations appropriately</li><li>Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized in support of the Contract.</li><li>Maintains appropriate inventories to meet customer/company requirements.</li><li>Take a proactive role in communicating with the Customer and meeting their needs; meet with customers and employees regularly, listen to issues, provide expertise and solutions. We are hiring a collaborative, strategic, and experienced leader to serve as Chief Information Security Officer (“CISO”). The CISO will join the University at a time of tremendous growth and opportunity as the institution expands its reach, research enterprise, and national reputation.<h2>About This Role</h2>Reporting to the Associate Vice President and CIO, the CISO will provide the necessary vision and leadership to develop and implement a strategic technological security operations unit and associated plan for strengthening K-State’s IT infrastructure and systems. As part of the CIO’s leadership team, the CISO will work closely with other senior leaders and oversee the implementation and expansion of technologies across campus, establish and maintain IT and security best practices, and effectively communicate risk and necessary risk-prevention measures to all members of the community. The CISO will recruit and mentor a team consisting of a Director of Data Security and Privacy, Cyber Security Risk and Compliance Analyst, six full-time security engineers, and 4-5 student workers and will promote an organizational culture committed to timely, effective, and user-friendly customer service. The CISO will lead day-to-day detection and response technologies to improve the University’s cyber posture. The CISO will work with third-party security vendors and threat-detection platforms to maximize the benefits of these purchases.
