Oversee the performance and completion of the month-end accounting close process which may include such things as calculating percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue and related cost of sales (COS), reconciling GL accounts, calculating and preparing accruals and other information required for closing the books, designing and running reports, reconciling petty cash, analyzing financial data versus budget and preparing, approving & posting journal entries. Accomplish the organization's strategic financial objectives and support its financial well-being by developing and monitoring annual budgets and financial forecasts compared to actual results, providing financial analysis and guidance and developing and enforcing internal controls.
