Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer._ Responsibilities Implement and supervise physical exercise programs for patients. + Provide patient testing and assessment before and after rehabilitation. + Plan and teach exercise therapy for patients utilizing test data, patient status and current medication regimen. Monitors patient's response and revises plan accordingly. + Recognize contraindications and abnonmal patient responses to exercise. Respond appropriately to all situations including exercise cessation and referral to medical professionals. + Provide exercise information for patients, peers and the community which may include public speaking and education classes. + Ensure department equipment is properly maintained, calibrated and functioning correctly. + Develop and maintain various files, records, reports; schedule patient appointments as required. + Provide oversight to department activities in the absence of the manager. Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred. Your future role at a glance:

How you'll make an impact in this role:
