Our Healthy Weight Management & Bariatric Surgery program offers a comprehensive approach to weight loss that includes both weight loss surgery and a non-surgical, medically managed weight loss option. Our team includes fellowship-trained surgeons and physicians that specialize in obesity medicine as well as nurses, dietitians, and exercise physiologists. Our Bariatric Surgery program at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is an accredited bariatric center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), administered by the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. By combining clinical judgment, patient education, and hands-on device management, you ensure patients receive safe, effective care while completing their treatment programs successfully.Details:<ul><li>Location: Travelling in King of Prussia, PA and surrounding area</li><li>Pay Range: $55,000</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:Deliver Patient Care & Device Support:<ul><li>Coordinate with Clinical Operations to schedule device deliveries and pick-ups.</li><li>Deliver, set up, service, and retrieve devices in patients' homes.</li><li>Educate patients on proper device use, treatment protocols, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Collect patient outcomes and feedback to support ongoing care.</li></ul>Monitor Progress & Ensure Compliance:<ul><li>Apply clinical judgment to evaluate patient progress and determine next steps.</li><li>Conduct regular phone and virtual check-ins to support adherence and motivation.</li><li>Address patient concerns related to treatment tolerance, compliance, or device function.</li><li>Escalate urgent clinical or device issues to appropriate internal teams.</li><li>Provide follow up patient monitoring as needed.</li></ul>Documentation & Compliance:<ul><li>Maintain accurate patient documentation, including progress notes and provider updates.</li><li>Prepare documentation supporting medical necessity, authorizations, appeals, and billing.</li><li>Track patient outreach, activity, and outcomes in Salesforce and internal systems.</li><li>Follow HIPAA, Department of Labor regulations, and company policies.</li></ul>Inventory & Operational Support:<ul><li>Manage device inventory, storage units, and equipment transfers.</li><li>Replace defective units in coordination with warehousing.</li><li>Safely operate and maintain a company-issued vehicle per fleet policy.</li></ul>Collaboration:<ul><li>Partner with intake, collections, clinical operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Associate's degree or higher in a health-related field with preferred concentration in exercise physiology, athletic training, exercise science, or physical education.</li><li>•	2–3 years of experience working with patients in a clinical or care-focused setting or with clients as a personal trainer, athletic trainer or physical therapy assistant preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of anatomy, musculoskeletal conditions, and injury recovery.</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to exercise independent judgment, solve problems, and manage patient concerns.</li><li>Comfort using CRM and documentation systems (Salesforce preferred).</li><li>Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot medical devices.</li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to regularly lift and transport equipment up to 75 lbs.</li><li>Mission-driven, patient-focused, team-oriented, and eager to continuously grow.</li></ul>Why choose Converge Medical Technology?
