This role requires strong communication with Project Managers and site personnel to provide realistic timeframes and alternative options for materials or equipment based on each unique situation. Success in this position depends on being highly organized and proactiveanticipating obstacles and recommending solutions rather than focusing solely on the immediate task. The work environment is dynamic, with no two days alike, so clear and timely communication is essential to manage multiple priorities safely and effectively. <h5>Key Responsibilities </h5><ul><li>Inspect orders upon pickup or arrival to confirm correct materials are expedited according to the materials list. </li><li>Resolve any discrepancies before leaving for delivery and seek management input when necessary. </li><li>Maintain legible shipping invoices, pick tickets, and related documents for accurate processing; ensure appropriate personnel receive copies. </li><li>Adjust and communicate delivery schedules for supplies, materials, and equipment based on changing priorities. </li><li>Secure loads to ensure safe, damage-free transportation. </li><li>Inform Project Managers and the Purchasing Manager of any needs or challenges at job sites. </li><li>Plan and coordinate efficient routes for material transfers between locations, incorporating input as needed. </li><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and project site personnel. </li><li>Communicate challenges promptly to all relevant parties. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul><h5>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities </h5>Physical Abilities <ul><li>Climb ladders and access equipment, lifts, and work platforms safely. </li><li>Walk briskly over uneven terrain and various surfaces in adverse weather conditions. </li><li>Perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, stooping, and squatting into work positions. </li><li>Lift and transport loads of 5075 pounds safely without injury. </li><li>Execute work effectively in all weather conditions. </li></ul>Mental & Cognitive Skills <ul><li>Analyze technical information and apply it accurately to tasks. </li><li>Maintain mental alertness and focus during hands-on labor. </li><li>Demonstrate strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and teamwork. </li><li>Adapt to changing priorities and accept constructive feedback. </li><li>Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels. </li><li>Solve problems efficiently, especially under pressure. </li></ul><h5>Minimum Requirements </h5><ul><li>Must be a US citizen or have valid legal work status in U.S. for I9 and E-Verify </li><li>Must be able to pass military installation base clearance requirements and maintain their access standards </li><li>Must pass Drug & Alcohol screening and criminal background </li><li>Must have a satisfactory driving record and maintain it </li><li>Must be able to pass and keep a DOT Medical Certification </li><li>Maintain a valid B or A Driver's License and personal vehicle insurance </li></ul><h5>Preferred but not required: </h5><ul><li>Previous experience as an electrical construction expeditor. </li><li>Skilled in operating heavy commercial equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, and excavators. </li><li>Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues. </li><li>Experience operating trucks with trailers. </li><li>Current CDL holder. </li><li>Prior experience in the construction industry. </li><li>Ability to interpret technical specifications for materials and equipment </li></ul>This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive document of all tasks associated with performance of the job described above. We offer locals and visitors an opportunity to experience breathtaking Alaska scenery, explore the miles of trails atop Mount Roberts, and learn more about Alaska Native culture.  SummaryResponsible for assisting kitchen and bar staff and delivering menu items from the kitchen, when done, for the restaurant, in order to contribute to a smooth operation.  Part-time and full-time schedules are available. We're excited to share that the job is based in beautiful Juneau, Alaska! We kindly ask that all applicants either live in Juneau or be open to relocating at their own expense.  Pay and Benefits: Seasonal Employees are eligible for the Seasonal Employee Layoff Bonus Plan. Responsibilities:
Job Duties<ul><li>Expedite food/menu items from the kitchen prep area to the guests in the dining area, as well as bar patrons. May be asked to assist bus persons to clear all used tableware, napkins and refuse from tables to tubs in bus station; wipes tables and chairs; clear debris from floor areas surrounding the tables; resets tables in accordance with established standards in order to seat new customers as quickly as possible.</li><li>Retrieves cleaned dishes, glassware and utensils from the kitchen area and distributes to each service station for future use.</li><li>During a guest visit, may be asked to fill water glasses if time allows, refilling customers’ non-alcoholic beverages, accommodating requests for additional condiments, clean or fresh tableware, etc.</li><li>Restocks and replenishes food service supplies; continually strives to assist in maintaining a clean, presentable, and attractive restaurant. Assists with the movement of foodstuffs from lower terminal to kitchen area.</li><li>Responsible for keeping the kitchen area clean and organized.</li><li>Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
