Your shifts will be on Saturday and Sunday, from 9 AM to 2 PM. Perfect for those who want to balance work with other commitments. YOUR DAY:As a Restaurant Expeditor - Service Assistant at IHOP, your day begins with the sweet scent of pancakes and the buzz of a busy restaurant. Your mission is simple yet vital: to ensure every guest has a memorable dining experience. When orders are ready, you'll expertly serve them to the tables, delivering piping hot dishes and cold drinks promptly. Your day is a whirlwind of engaging with guests, maintaining a vibrant atmosphere, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. Job Responsibilities: <ul><li>Manage ticket times to ensure food is being delivered fresh and within ticket time standards</li><li>Coordinate table visits with a manager when necessary to exceed Guest expectations</li><li>Send accurate orders to tables</li><li>Ensure restroom checks are completed</li></ul> Job Requirements: <ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>Previous relevant restaurant experience is preferred.</li><li>Have a current Food Handler's Card where applicable.</li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced teamwork environment.</li><li>Ability to learn and conduct side work required for each shift.</li><li>Knowledge of all chemicals used in the building.</li><li>Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to Employees, dining room staff, Management and Guests.</li><li>Understanding of English language.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.</li><li>Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.</li><li>Comfortable standing for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 30 lbs. and continuously bend, reach and twist.</li></ul> Why work for us?
