Projects include: Large capital maintenance (Boiler, turbine, environmental systems, duct/fans, electrical switchgear, controls) Infrastructure repair, replacement or upgrades in areas such as seawall, compressors, water treatment, piping, roadways, conveyors, building facilities Regulatory compliance projects pertaining to security infrastructure, emissions, settling basins, safety To help narrow the pool further: These are some key requirements I'm looking for in potential candidates: 4-yr Degree in Engineering - Any discipline is acceptable 3-7 years of experience in one or more of the following sectors: Energy and Utility in any area (power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy, energy storage, etc) Oil and Gas, (refineries, drilling, exploration, etc) Gas storage and pipeline Municipal utility Wastewater treatment and processing Major infrastructure (roads, bridges, waterways, etc.) Industrial facilities maintenance Industrial/Commercial construction working for a major constructor Chemical processing in a heavy industrial environment Experience working on projects $500K+ in magnitude Some knowledge of project management and/or construction management Has worked in a projectized environment Preferred qualifications: Professional Engineer license in the state of Michigan PMP or CAPM certification Duration: 6 Month Description: Performs project initiation, planning, procurement, and engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
