Work with Production Manager to obtain daily goals and give daily directions. Ensure employees follow all safety guidelines and train employees on the fabrication processes of our product. Responsibilities:
Group Leader-Welder Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare welders to successfully pass weld certifications.</li><li>Set and obtain daily goals to meet production requirements</li><li>Assist employees with process issues</li><li>Adjust manpower to meet goals and continue cross training processes</li><li>Fill in when needed to meet goals</li><li>Ensure product meets and conforms to quality standards</li><li>Evaluate employee work performance based on quality and production goals</li></ul>Group Leader-Welder Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous experience managing/leading a group of production welding associates preferred.</li><li>2 to 5 years of previous industrial manufacturing experience preferred</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel and departments within the organization.</li><li>Familiarity with the various departments and equipment within the scope of their responsibility preferred.</li><li>Ability to interpret, comprehend and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.</li><li>Must have demonstrated a mechanical aptitude. Mechanical aptitude exam may be used to determine the extent of mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Basic computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft office. </li></ul>

Adhere to procedures and prepare and maintain records, in either written or electronic form, regarding safety, quality, productivity, preventive maintenance and housekeeping. This role is located at 101 Industry Way, Staunton, VA and will be fully on-site.  Starting Pay: $25.00/hr., with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications.1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday |6:00am-4:30pm Performance Evaluation at 90 days and 6 months with the potential for a $.50 increase after each evaluation.
