Purpose and Scope: Under the minimal supervision, performs engineering modeling, analysis, design, and checking for moderate to complex structures; prepares formal calculations, analyses, studies, specifications, reports, and other technical documents; checks and performs design verification of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications; reviews vendor drawings, shop drawings, and other discipline drawings. Direct interface and liaison with internal and external customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
