<div><strong>Job Overview:</strong><br/>We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Duties:</strong></div><ul><li>Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.</li><li>Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.</li><li>Maintain floors through regular sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to ensure they are clean and presentable.</li><li>Carry out custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas.</li><li>Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep of the building.</li><li>Respond to cleaning requests promptly and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Support residential painting projects as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities.</li><li>Act as a porter by ensuring supplies are stocked and available for use in cleaning operations.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Previous experience in clinical/healthcare/commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.</li><li>Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment operation is advantageous.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li>Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.</li><li>Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and meet all applicable security requirements as a condition of employment. This may include, but is not limited to, verification of identity, employment history, criminal history, and eligibility for access to government facilities or systems.
