Skilled in use of necessary hand and power tools; Conducts pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning; Cleans, lubricates, and refills equipment; Drives pilings to provide support for structures such as bridges, using heavy equipment with a pile driver head; Moves hand and foot levers of hoisting equipment to position piling leads, hoist piling into leads, and position hammers over pilings; Moves levers and turns valves to activate power hammers, or to raise and lower drop hammers that drive pile to required depths. This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
