Under the guidance of the Regional Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and provide exceptional customer service. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our dedicated team to ensure our customers receive top-notch service and support.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain regular availability and physical presence at the location.</li><li>Generally manage, schedule, and supervise all employees, activities, and time entries</li><li>Ensure proper and effective staff communication and that all employees are properly trained, equipped, and certified to perform their work.</li><li>Oversee and implement approved corporate policy, including the DMG safety program, and serve as the location safety manager unless someone else is designated.</li><li>Interview, hire, review, and discipline employees as needed.</li><li>Promptly track and report all incidents as required by company policy.</li><li>Learn and know the functional capabilities and limitations of the location.</li><li>Manage and coordinate all facility maintenance.</li><li>Supervise and control grain receipts and the condition of stored grain.</li><li>Supervise and manage all warehousing activities.</li><li>Manage all inventory measurements and promptly report the same.</li><li>Schedule, coordinate, and oversee all train loading and grain cleaning/drying activities.</li><li>Be proficient at all train loading functions, including loco operation and loading.</li><li>Promote and market DMG programs, services, and products for the location.</li><li>Coordinate grain purchases, receipts, storage, and rail and truck shipments with DMG grain, feed, and agronomy managers</li><li>Secure and maintain all required licensing for their location.</li><li>Secure and maintain a valid South Dakota commercial driver’s license.</li><li>Manage customer relations, services, and complaints.</li><li>Oversee customer accounts and pursue all collection activities.</li><li>Act as DMG representative for local governmental relations and issues.</li><li>Assist in the development and reporting of facility budgets and costs.</li><li>Monitor and oversee all business activities to promote profitability.</li><li>Report to the Regional Manager and/or General Manager as directed.</li><li>Perform other functions and duties as may be assigned from time to time.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and physical.</li><li>Valid CDL (or ability to obtain one) that is in good standing</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.
