p>Brief Statement of Duties: Responsible for providing leadership to Plant Operations to include: 1) all building and utility systems maintenance (preventive, general repair, emergency and long-term), 2) the management of the building management systems and computerized maintenance management system, 3) projecting, planning, securing and managing long-term maintenance projects associated with all building and utility systems to ensure reliable and efficient system operation, 4) developing energy conservation and carbon neutrality efforts including executing supportive initiatives, projects and programs, 5) tracking, analyzing, and reporting of all campus utilities usage, and 6) project management which includes all duties associated with design, bidding, and construction. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Knowledge of operation, maintenance and construction techniques/methods and safety rules as they apply to the operation and maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, architectural, steam distribution and energy management systems and equipment.
