Within World Electric we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can offer exciting opportunities to grow your career.We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team!Job Type: Full TimeSchedule:2:30pm - 11:30pmWhat You'll DoYou will:<ul><li>Receiving</li><li/><li>Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, packing slips, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.</li><li/><li>Marks materials with identifying information.</li><li/><li>Opens bales, crates, and other containers.</li><li/><li>Verifies and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.</li><li/><li>Drives equipment to transport items within the warehouse.</li><li/><li>Uses computer to enter records.</li><li/><li>Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.</li><li>Put away</li><li/><li>Sorts and places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product code.</li><li/><li>Sorts and stores stocked goods in warehouse.</li><li/><li>Marks materials with identifying information.</li><li/><li>Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.</li><li>Picking</li><li/><li>Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to customers and sales.</li><li/><li>Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.</li><li/><li>Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.</li><li>Packing</li><li/><li>Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.</li><li/><li>Verifies the product that has been picked and documents discrepancies on an error log and has correct product re-picked.</li><li/><li>Confirm tickets.</li><li/><li>Uses computer to enter records.</li><li>Loading</li><li/><li>Consolidates freight for shipping.</li><li/><li>Loads trucks for delivery to customers.</li><li>Routing</li><li/><li>Facilitates and distributes shipping tickets</li><li/><li>Verifies shipping method</li><li/><li>Manages delayed release tickets</li><li/><li>Communicates oversize loads to freight carriers</li><li/><li>Inspects and maintains printing equipment</li><li/><li>Ensures shipping routes are maintained</li><li>Pipe Yard</li><li/><li>Receive pipe and conduit</li><li/><li>Prepare pipe and conduit bundles for shipping orders</li></ul>What You'll BringEducation and/or Experience: <ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
