Responsibilities As a SkillBridge Industrial/Personnel Security Intern with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have the opportunity to do the following: • Collaborate with a team of motivated, talented, and supportive professionals • Develop innovative solutions for complex challenges • Work with state-of-the-art technologies • Evaluate the design and performance of advanced Information Technology-based systems • Install, configure, and test server hardware (including CPUs, RAM, hard drives, and network cards) for our training simulator systems • Assemble and install simulator components such as computer racks, computers, network infrastructure, and support systems-ensuring optimal airflow and effective cable management • Assist with hardware upgrades, replacements, and repairs as needed • Review and assess technical documentation to verify equipment suitability in system designs • Create and update technical requirements, specify system components, and draft technical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools • Coordinate and participate in system installation, interface testing, operational performance verification, troubleshooting, technical issue evaluations, and the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
