This executive will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, Board, and private equity investors, driving growth, operational efficiency, and value creation across the business.The VP of Finance will oversee all financial planning, reporting, and control functions while building the infrastructure and discipline needed to support rapid expansion and future transactions. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a finance executive who thrives in dynamic, scaling environments.<hr/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead all financial operations, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and compliance.</li><li>Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes aligned with private equity objectives.</li><li>Partner with operations, marketing, and development teams to analyze store performance, ROI, and capital allocation.</li><li>Build and enhance financial systems, dashboards, and KPIs that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.</li><li>Develop long-term financial models to support growth initiatives, M&A, and market expansion.</li><li>Oversee cash management, credit facilities, and banking relationships.</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison with the private equity sponsor, providing transparent performance reporting and investor communications.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate month-end closes and audit processes.</li><li>Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team capable of scaling with the company.</li><li>Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, risk management, and potential exit scenarios.</li></ul><hr/><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.</li><li>10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 3–5 years in a private-equity-backed or multi-unit consumer business.</li><li>Proven success managing financial operations for a company with multi-state retail, restaurant, or service locations.</li><li>Deep knowledge of GAAP, FP&A, and financial controls.</li><li>Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data into clear business insights.</li><li>Experience with ERP implementations and financial systems optimization.</li><li>Track record of partnering with PE sponsors, lenders, and auditors.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.</li></ul><hr/><h3>What Success Looks Like</h3><ul><li>Accurate and timely financial reporting that drives confident decision-making.</li><li>Streamlined, scalable financial infrastructure across all markets.</li><li>Improved profitability and cash flow through disciplined cost management.</li><li>Strong, trusted relationships with investors, lenders, and leadership.</li><li>A finance team built for growth and operational excellence.</li></ul>Powered by JazzHR
