Click here to learn more about our bank divisions.All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.WA Applicants ONLY:$89,059.78 to $133,589.68 a year.Description<ul><li>Participates as a lead team member on scheduled audits, executing audits from start to finish with limited direction from the Audit Manager.</li><li>Tracks and validates issues to ensure they are appropriately addressed.</li><li>Participates in Continuous Monitoring activities over the Finance/Treasury function and/or division, including monitoring of key internal controls over financial reporting.</li><li>Prepares draft written audit reports for review and approval by the Audit Manager.</li><li>Conducts and documents detailed process walkthroughs with management, including identification of process risks and controls, including key internal controls over financial reporting (as applicable).</li><li>Documents clear audit workpapers that articulate purpose, scope, procedure, and conclusions of test work performed.</li><li>Identifies control gaps or control deficiencies, including those impacting internal controls over financial reporting, and assesses the impact to Glacier.</li><li>With support from the Audit Manager, presents audit results to internal audit leadership as well as business management.</li><li>Maintains internal audit competency through ongoing professional development.</li><li>Maintains understanding of current and emerging risks within the Finance/Treasury area, including regulatory and SOX-related risks</li><li>Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned.</li><li>Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide direct financial leadership and support for assessing allocation rates, composition of cost pools and for new allocations. - Work with Group and project finance teams to develop, administer, and implement policies, process improvements, methodologies, and cost allocations. - Prepare the annual incurred cost submission in real-time, as each month is closed which includes; confirming the allocations are consistent with the CAS Disclosure Statement, reviewing for unallowable costs, and reconciling the submission to the general ledger.- Receive audit requests (Incurred Cost, project related, Sarbanes-Oxley, DCAA, etc.) and successfully manage them to completion while pulling applicable support documents (e.g., timesheets, invoices, bank records, etc.) - Develop cost impacts for proposed changes to cost accounting practices. - Update the CAS Disclosure Statements for clarifications and changes. - Establish and assures adherence to schedules, work plans, project performance requirements, and deadlines. - Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning government compliance. - Establish operational objectives as well as work plans and delegates assignments to indirect subordinates. - Responsible for creating and maintaining very complex MS Excel spreadsheets including; modeling, formulas, pivot tables, etc.- Provide training as needed to other teams within the organizations related to government compliance. - Other duties as assigned.Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Performs all project finance functions in accordance with company policy and manuals- Coordinates with Project Management to develop operational productivity analysis and tracking of metrics to identify where cost efficiencies can be achieved- Develops and manages project status reporting for Project Management, using CostPoint and Cognos reports as well as Excel- Reviews contract modifications, maintains financial contract files and prepares reports, documentation and presentations as appropriate- Prepares and/or reviews Project financial forecasts with Project Management and Division finance and works closely to track performance and provides timely variance and Risk and Opportunity Analysis- Prepares client invoices in conformance with MAXIMUS policy and client requirements to ensure projects are billed accurately and timely- Manages Direct Sales Outstanding by expediting collections and keeping unbilled as low as possible- Performs monthly reconciliation on accrued expenses to ensure completeness of project reporting as well as adherence to GAAP- Prepares and/or monitors vendor & expense report transaction processing to ensure expenses are coded correctly - Reviews time charges and practices to ensure project staff and shared resources are reporting time accurately and against appropriate projects- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting for financial and business planning- Prepares routine and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses using MAXIMUS proprietary tools, Enterprise solutions and Excel- Provides ongoing supervision to assigned staff- Responsible for identifying and resolving issues, problems and concerns- Interacts with different levels of external and internal customersMinimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree.- 7-10 years experience.Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent degree.
