<p><strong>Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager – Automotive</strong></p><p>This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced professional who is excited by automotive F&I and passionate about customer service. We are currently seeking an F&I manager to join our amazing team. We need a leader with a strong focus on compliance requirements and product knowledge, who can train bright new talent, clearly communicate product features and benefits, and who can confidently close the sale.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Contract new business, sell and close deals </li><li>Generate finance income on all sold customers </li><li>Check/verify paperwork involved with cash, finance or loan transactions </li><li>Contract or collect all money at closing </li><li>Seek bank approval on financed and leased deals </li><li>Maintain a working knowledge of leases, “balloons”, etc. </li><li>Promote Credit Life/Accident & Health sales </li><li>Assist in acquiring approval from lenders </li><li>Understand all programs and rate options offered by our lenders </li><li>Solicit extended warranty sales (aftermarket) </li><li>Handle all cancellations for extended warranties and credit life</li></ul><p><strong>Must be proficient at the following: </strong><br/></p><ul><li>Deep understanding of building a strong deal structure from beginning to end</li><li>Obtaining loan approvals that maximize profitability</li><li>Strong ability to present and close all F&I products ( VSC, Gap, Tire&Wheel, and all ancillary products) </li></ul><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>At Peak Performance Team, our core philosophy is that leaders should have the freedom to make their own decisions regarding the products they offer and how they handle claims. Adaptability and positivity are key qualities to be successful in this role. <br/><br/><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br/></p><ul><li>Engage in month-end close process and assist staff and management throughout close process.</li><li>Prepare general ledger entries in accordance with GAAP.</li><li>Prepare detailed account reconciliations by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system, external reports, and various corporate departments.</li><li>Documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Focus on internal controls and continuous improvement, including monthly validations of balance sheet accounts, journal entries, and other critical items.</li><li>Assist with interim and year-end audits.</li><li>Assist with year-end taxes.</li><li>Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheets and other ad hoc reports as needed.</li><li>Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.</li><li>Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.</li><li>Assist Management with system implementations and testing.</li><li>Collaborate with Finance Department personnel and other teammates, as necessary.</li><li>Cross train with other members of Corporate Accounting team.</li><li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.</li><li>All other duties as requested. </li></ul><strong>Job Requirements</strong><br/><br/><strong>Education, Essential Training / Certifications and Experience:</strong><ul><li>Pursuing degree in accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience with Financial Accounting Standards.</li><li>At least 1 year of demonstrated automated general ledger accounting experience.</li><li>At least 1 year of intermediate level experience with spreadsheet applications. </li></ul><strong>Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:</strong><ul><li>Intermediate proficiency in word, accounting, and spreadsheet software and applications.</li><li>Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Initiative in understanding process flows and internal controls.</li><li>Self-motivated to learn, discover, improve, and grow.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work well in a team environment that promotes inclusiveness and communication among team members.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining confidentiality. </li></ul>
