We are seeking skilled carpenters join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction and carpentry tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and restorations. The carpenters will collaborate closely with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.DutiesExecute finishing tasks including trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of designs. Perform various carpentry functions such as frame carpentry, concrete forming, and drywall installation. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks including caulking, plastering, and siding installation. Conduct heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment during project execution. Collaborate with team members on restoration projects including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and flooring installation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites while maintaining a clean work environment. Assist in manufacturing processes when necessary, including CNC operations and assembly tasks. RequirementsProven experience in the construction industry with a focus on finishing work. Strong skills in woodworking, and remodeling. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other tradespeople. Inspects parts for rust and scale and isresponsible for quality of the work done on all parts leaving the phosphate coating area on his respective shift.

<h5>Metal Finisher #1, 1st Shift </h5>The hourly rate for this position is $27.55 The Metal Finisher #1 sets up and operates metal finishing equipment such as vibrators, tumbling barrels, shakers, magnetic separators and phosphate coating processes. Inspects parts for rust and scale and isresponsible for quality of the work done on all parts leaving the phosphate coating area on his respective shift. Follows established company directives, policies, military specifications, quality documents and manufacturing instructions. <h5>Responsibilities </h5>Collect samples of phosphate coating solutions weekly. Daily analyzes phosphate solution for total and free acid as described in appropriate work instruction. Adds appropriate chemicals, prepares and runs samples for salt spray and coating weight testing daily per work instructions. Operate abrasive cleaning equipment such as grit blast machines. Use abrasive sanding discs, belts, wheels, which include buffing, polishing wheels, and compounds. Use trichloroethylene vapor degreaser, acid descaler and caustic cleaning compounds. Plugs or masks parts as necessary to protect items from abrasive or coating processes. May mix various types or combinations of abrasives depending on size, design, and material in order to meet specified finish. Adds Medias as they wear down in size. Also determines when cycles may be stopped to additional parts. Processes designated items through a heat treat oven during phosphate coating cycles to prevent hydrogen embrittlement. Maintain daily logs of items that are heat treated in compliance with company and government directives. May start up, shut off and adjust oven temperatures. Monitors condition of finishing media for glazed, loaded, or dull, appearance. Recondition media as necessary. Uses electrical hoist or manually lifts trays, baskets, and racks containing parts to be finished. Loads and unloads items from the various finishing processes. Protect finished items from corrosion by applying oil or other rust inhibitors. Uses gages during final sanding, buffing and polishing operations to ensure designated specifications. Maintain cleanliness and serviceable condition of equipment by practicing good housekeeping policies. Physical capacity requirements for this position require the incumbent to be able to lift 35 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion. <h5>Qualifications </h5>High school diploma or G.E.D. required. No supervision required as to the mechanics of the job. Must be capable of performing all tasks and duties of Metal Finisher #2 and #3. May be required to enter and verify information into written forms or database(s) as appropriate. Required to perform other duties as directed by supervision and follow detailed instructions.
