Job Summary:
Shambaugh & Son L.P. is looking for a Fire Protection Sprinkler Designer. In this position, you will be responsible for designing layouts using AutoCAD/HydraCAD and creating hydraulic calculations.#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-onsite

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for designing and the layout of Fire Sprinkler systems</li><li>Read, analyze and interpret contract documents, including all disciplines of construction drawings and specifications</li><li>Write, plan, coordinate and make presentation to individuals and groups</li><li>Work with and comprehend mathematical concepts including hydraulic calculations and project cost analysis</li><li>Develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction</li><li>Provide fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, AutoSprink, and Revit</li><li>Responsible for BIM modeling and field surveying</li><li>Provide lists for fabrication and coordinate between the trades</li><li>Other duties assigned</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience. Examples include:  Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management Degrees</li><li>Strong analytical, critical thinking and mathematical aptitude, with attention to detail</li><li>Good working knowledge of hydraulic calculations and ability to read and understand blueprints</li><li>Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities under time constraints</li><li>Flexible to be available as needed to travel to client sites</li><li>Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.</li></ul>

Job Title: Fire Suppression Systems Inspector Salary: $74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year Job Summary: As a fire suppression systems inspector you will be responsible for the completion of service requests at various locations throughout your given territory. We have positions for professional responsible state-licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspectors. Inspect and test fire systems, such as emergency lights and extinguishers, to ensure that they function effectively and meet NFPA standards. Adjust or repair malfunctioning systems. Perform basic sprinkler inspection service. Looking for a dependable, self-starter, with a "Can Do" attitude to work efficiently within our fast-paced environment. Job Duties/ Responsibilities: Basic Technical Ability <ul><li>Schedule fire system inspections </li><li>Run test and inspection on fire suppression systems </li><li>Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid response to testing </li><li>Repair system if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs </li><li>Advise customer of test and inspection results </li><li>Requires excellent communication skills with your Area Coordinator as requested for inspections completed, rescheduled etc. </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills required; Good interpersonal skills required </li></ul>Full-Time Position <ul><li>Full-time position with 40+ hours weekly available </li><li>You will be responsible to meet service calls in an efficient manner </li><li>Identify emergencies and respond quickly to support and assist customers in need </li><li>Ability to use geographical maps, Google Maps, and read/understand maps to schedule effectively </li></ul>Customer Service Oriented <ul><li>You will be responsible to answer and manage incoming calls with customers and office staff </li><li>Accurately keeping thorough documentation of service calls </li><li>Other duties as needed </li></ul>Job Qualifications & Requirements <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years post-high school education preferred </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills required; Good interpersonal skills required </li><li>Basic skills using Apple/Android tablets is necessary </li><li>Must demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills </li><li>Must be able to work M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. and be flexible </li><li>Ability to handle pressure, various tasks assigned, and meet deadlines </li><li>Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use a ladder up to 8-ft </li><li>NICET certification and/or fire sprinkler background a plus </li><li>Valid drivers license required </li><li>Travel: 100% of the time, remote work </li></ul> Apply: Please include your resume, references, and contact information to best reach you
