Ensure fire alarm systems (pull stations, smoke detectors, duct smoke detectors, heat detectors, beam detectors, water flows, tamper switches, speakers and strobes, fan shutdown and elevator recall, door release, fire smoke dampers, and purge systems) are tested by a licensed contractor at least once per year. Direct and coordinate the actions to be taken in response to a fire emergency, (shelter in place, in-building relocation, partial or full evacuation) in the terminal until the arrival of the PAPD Incident Commander.
