This role involves setting up and taking down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades to ensure the safety of workers and the public. The Flagger uses hand signals, signs, and other traffic control devices to communicate with motorists and guide them safely through or around the work area. This includes setting up, monitoring, and removing lane closures on state highways and other roadways, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations. The Supervisor leads traffic control crews, ensures job site safety, mentors team members, and manages project documentation.
