Performs routine maintenance checks and services on vehicles (e.g., greasing, checking air pressure, oil and other fluid levels, washing, etc.) and determines that the vehicle is in proper working condition prior to operation; informs appropriate personnel of necessary repairs to the vehicle. Five years of heavy vehicle driving experience in solid waste vehicles, specifically automated side loader, front end loader, rear loader, roll-off, and/or boom truck required; any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
